Dr. Royer was born and raised in Pittsburgh, in the Upper St. Clair area. He attended Upper St. Clair High School and University of Pittsburgh for his undergraduate degree. He then attended Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia where he graduated with a degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Royer has been married for 31yrs and is the proud father of three children. Miles, Abbey and Sydney.

Dr. Royer has been active in the Castle Shannon community for over 25 years. He volunteers every year at both St. Anne fish fry and school fair. He is also the “fry guy” at the annual Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department Carnival as well as their other fundraising events.
